This is a man of faith, integrity, love of country, and Cherokee County, with life-time family roots in Cherokee. A man that stands with God, country, his family, and fair impartial justice. He is going to make a Great Chief Magistrate Judge for Cherokee County. So, I ask all of my family, friends, and neighbors, to cast that VOTE FOR TREY GOODWIN FOR CHIEF MAGISTRATE JUDGE! Let’s keep this county safe with a solid judge!
— Ken Ball, Former Chief Deputy for Cherokee County Sheriff's Department
Trey and the Goodwin family have been cornerstones of our community for decades. Having served as a part-time associate judge, Trey has almost 8 years of first-hand knowledge and experience that allows him to seamlessly step into Cherokee County’s Chief Magistrate Judge position. He is kind, he is fair, and he stands up for what is right, and I cannot think of anyone I’d rather see serve our community.
Trey has also been a blessing to many with his work at Atlanta Adoption and Family Law, where they aid those who are enduring the difficult path of adoption. It is hard work, and that is something Trey knows a great deal about.
Trey is dedicated, knowledgeable, and uniquely experienced for this position. That is why I offer my full endorsement of Trey Goodwin for Cherokee County’s next Chief Magistrate Judge.
— Luke Smith, Cherokee County Politician, Entrepreneur, and Realtor

I, Denver Peardon want to take a moment to announce my endorsement for Trey Goodwin for Chief Magistrate Judge! A man of the community whose family has had ties to this community since Cherokee County was a very small rural county! He is the most qualified candidate for the job! This community needs someone who has had a proven commitment to community involvement, morals and upstanding respect for the community and everyone in it! True leadership and non-bias with the utmost respect for his fellow citizens who goes above and beyond the duty he is called to do! I can’t think of anyone better for this job!
— Denver Peardon, Local Historian and Mechanic
Did you know there are local elections next Tuesday? It is easy to overlook these because there aren’t national implications but I’m a huge believer that local elections impact our day to day more than national elections do at times.
One of the things on the ballot is Chief Magistrate Judge. I was excited to see Trey Goodwin throw his hat into the ring for this position. If you know anything about Trey, it is he has a heart for justice. He is active in our community; he has been serving in our court system for years and is active in the adoption process for so many people. He is already making a difference and is looking to take that to the next level of commitment. It with the utmost confidence that I 100% endorse Trey for this office and encourage all of you to get out and vote this coming Tuesday. A few votes can make a huge difference in elections like these.
